REPLIT MAKES OPENAI ITS DEFAULT OVER ANTHROPIC, CEO SAYS

Replit's CEO initially said the AI coding platform had stopped working with Anthropic over cost, partnership, and performance, claiming ChatGPT now builds vibe-coded apps better. Insiders familiar with the partnership rejected that, with one saying it remains in place. Replit's site and posts show Anthropic models in use as recently as a few weeks ago. He later clarified that OpenAI is the default, while Claude remains available.

WHATSAPP WANTS TO MAKE STICKERS LOUDER AND CHATS A LITTLE LESS CRAMPED

WhatsApp is testing sound stickers on Android that let users attach up to 10 seconds of recorded or existing audio to custom stickers, while video-based stickers can retain five seconds of their original sound. Another option removes the outline around custom stickers for a cleaner appearance. A redesigned two-line compose box is also being tested, separating the typing field from additional controls to create more space and accommodate future shortcuts.

WHERE DECISIONS LIVE

Giving different kinds of project information distinct homes makes both teams and AI agents better at distinguishing current decisions from outdated discussions and unfinished thinking. A simple system can keep chronological observations and evolving ideas in running notes while maintaining a separate dated decision log that records what is currently true without deleting previous decisions. AI makes large amounts of context searchable, but chronology and structure remain essential because a searchable mess is still a mess.

UX DESIGNERS ARE NOT DESIGNING INTERFACES, THEY DESIGN PERSONALITIES

Digital products increasingly translate human behavior into metrics such as sleep scores, ratings, streaks, story points, and follower counts, which can gradually influence how people understand themselves and behave. These measurements expose only selected parts of reality, yet their apparent objectivity can give them greater authority than unmeasured experiences, relationships, and intuition. UX designers therefore shape more than interfaces and experiences: by deciding which metrics products emphasize, they influence how people perceive themselves and should deliberately leave room for realities that cannot be quantified.

FULHAM F.C GETS A BRAND REFRESH BUILT ON HAND-RENDERED LETTERING FOUND ON THE WALLS OF ITS STADIUM

Fulham F.C's refreshed identity by Music and F37 Foundry is built around FFC Original, a bespoke typeface inspired by hand-rendered lettering discovered inside Craven Cottage, London's oldest football stadium. Rather than placing historical references alongside a contemporary identity, the system uses the club's physical heritage as the source of its modern visual language. The typography now extends across matchday graphics, campaigns, retail, moving image, and a 2026/27 away-kit campaign inspired by the visual language of the 1990s.

STRUCTURE FIRST: THE INVERTED PYRAMID AND VISUAL ORGANIZATION

The inverted pyramid makes web content easier to consume by putting the essential message first and progressively adding supporting detail, ensuring readers understand the key point even if they stop early. Individual paragraphs should similarly lead with their main idea, while descriptive headings, short paragraphs, lists, and selective emphasis provide visual entry points for people scanning rather than reading linearly. A useful test is whether someone can understand something meaningful from a page within five seconds without reading its body copy. AI-generated writing is particularly worth checking for conclusions buried beneath unnecessary setup.
