Canva Craft is the company's first in-house image generation model. Built specifically for design work such as posters, presentations, social graphics, and other layouts where accurate text and composition matter, its two-stage process first plans object placement, scale, hierarchy, and typography before generating images at up to 2K resolution across 30 aspect ratios, with Magic Layers able to convert results into editable designs. Trained on millions of human-created Canva templates, Craft is available through Dream Lab and Canva's API, with integrations for AI assistants and faster Craft variants also planned.
