SOLVING INTEROPERABILITY FOR THE SUPERCHAIN AND BEYOND

Optimism has announced its vision for native interoperability across the Superchain-connected L2s, allowing users and assets to move seamlessly across the Superchain. There will be a cross-chain message passing protocol, a universal token standard, and a shared proof system for shared security. Beyond the Superchain, ERC-7683 will allow for interoperability with other L2s via the app layer. Interoperability will be live on the mainnet next year.

GROWING DEFI LIQUIDITY: INTRODUCING THE DEBRIDGE FOUNDATION AND THE DBR CHECKER

The deBridge Foundation has been launched to support the growth of DeFi's internet of liquidity, with DBR token holders guiding its future. Its first initiative is the DBR checker, which allows community members to preview their DBR token allocation based on Season 1 activity. There are detailed distribution plans for the DBR token (which has a total supply of 10B, an initial circulating supply of 1.8 billion, and a structured vesting period over three years) focused on community incentives.

A HIGH-LEVEL TECHNICAL OVERVIEW OF FULLY HOMOMORPHIC ENCRYPTION

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) enables computations on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it, making it highly secure but traditionally slow for practical use. Despite these challenges, advancements in FHE schemes such as BGV, BFV, CKKS, and CGGI — each tailored to different types of arithmetic — are pushing the boundaries of its usability, with innovations in hardware acceleration, scheme-switching, and bootstrapping making FHE more feasible for real-world applications.
