Apeiron, a Delta-class suborbital spacecraft from Virgin Galactic, is being moved from Virgin Galactic's Spaceship Factory in Mesa, Arizona, to Spaceport America in New Mexico. After its arrival, aircraft engineers and technicians will complete work on the vehicle's avionics equipment and flight software. Virgin Galactic expects Apeiron's first commercial spaceflight to take place early in the second quarter of 2027.
