HOW TO WRITE BETTER PROMPTS FOR AI DESIGN AND CODE GENERATORS

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

This post presents a structured five-part prompt format that significantly improves AI-generated design and code outputs by providing clear direction beyond vague requests. The format includes Context, Description, Platform, and Visual Style, with the final component, UI Components, detailing specific elements from top to bottom with placeholder content and functional behaviors. This ensures the AI-generated interfaces are practical and ready to implement, rather than generic or abstract designs.
