Summary from the TLDR Marketing newsletter

Starting in early 2024, Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL email clients will automatically mark messages from non-compliant senders as spam. This means email senders must implement by 2024 the Sender Policy Framework or DomainKeys Identified Mail and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance records. The policy applies to both transactional and marketing emails.
