Its immediate predecessor is the best-selling nonmobile game of all time. The game's release is causing other entertainment companies to delay products until next year because they know GTA VI will suck up the planet's attention for most of November. It will almost certainly be the most expensive video game ever created. This article looks at how Rockstar Games built what is expected to be the biggest video game blockbuster of all time.

The AI lab is currently pursuing what may become the largest-ever initial public offering. Its IPO could value the company at $2 trillion. The San Francisco company is expected to begin trading as early as next month. A successful launch from Anthropic could reopen the door for other listings and provide a vote of confidence for the industry.

Perseverance landed on Mars in February 2021 and has been traveling in and around the Jezero Crater since. It was set to surpass the driving record back in August, but it came across some interesting rocks, so it dawdled for two months. Perseverance most likely still has many miles to go in the coming years. This article contains some of the highlights from its drive so far.

The Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Noble gases, Chemistry, and Imaging (DAVINCI), which will send a parachute-assisted descent probe through Venus' atmosphere, is now scheduled for launch in December 2030. The Venus Emissivity, Radio science, InSAR, Topography, And Spectroscopy (VERITAS) mission will launch in November 2032 to map the Venusian surface by radar from orbit. The European Space Agency is building an orbiter for launch to Venus in 2032, and Rocket Lab plans to launch a privately funded probe as soon as next year to search for signs of organic material in the planet's clouds.

99% of product teams have fully integrated AI into at least one workflow. As AI becomes part of everyday work, it's expanding what PMs, designers, and engineers can do and changing how they work together. Atlassian's _State of Product 2027_ [12] explores what comes after adoption, from broader roles to harder choices about where teams should focus.
2026.10.15·atlassian.com·Sponsor·TLDR Being able to tell clean code from messy code is still useful, but it's becoming something that tools can help with. Knowing what shape a program should have before anyone writes it is something AI still can't do yet. The best way to get better at AI coding might be to spend more time thinking about problems and less time thinking about prompts. The programmers that get the most out of these tools already knew what they wanted.

Write end-to-end tests that simulate real user flows and act as the ground truth. Use property-based testing to specify what should never happen and generate thousands of test cases that attempt to break those constraints. Require tests to run quickly and deterministically so that agents retry when the loop is slow or unreliable.

OpenAI narrowed Anthropic's lead in business AI adoption in September. Today, more than half of businesses pay for AI, and many of them pay for multiple models. The growth in new AI customers has slowed down significantly. Growth in the market will now have to come from more intense adoption rather than more customers.

This makes the industry ripe for espionage. While the companies have been on guard against the threat, there's no such thing as a perfect defense. This article explores the different ways corporate espionage is happening in the AI industry.

By integrating Sentry, you can setup an automated debugging workflow with your full context, capture agent metrics for evals, and verify signed deliveries.
In this workshop [5], Sergiy Dybskiy of Sentry and Ben Homes of Warp lay out:
* What Warp factories are and how they can be used to debug issues with Sentry * How Warp is using Sentry internally [6] for some of their own factories * Best practices for using Warp and Sentry together

A British software engineer has filed suit against BitMEX operator HDR Global Trading in London's Commercial Court, seeking return of 324.8 BTC (~$27.2M) on the grounds that BitMEX conducted regulated derivatives activity in the UK without FCA authorization. The claim, filed under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, targets 1,053 losing perpetual swap trades across five accounts from 2018 to 2022, arguing those contracts are unenforceable against UK residents who dealt with an unauthorized firm. A deceit claim accompanies the restitution suit, alleging BitMEX knew it lacked authorization while representing to clients it could lawfully trade with them. Barber's legal team at Seladore Legal suggests other UK users entered similar contracts, putting total potential exposure at hundreds of millions of pounds, with BitMEX having closed operations on September 23.
Strive acquired 3,311 BTC between October 5 and 9 for $280M at an average of ~$84,500, bringing its total treasury to 32,773 BTC and ranking it fifth among publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders. Bitcoin holdings expanded 11.2% against a 9.4% rise in effective common share count, benefiting existing shareholders on a per-BTC basis. CEO Matt Cole has targeted second-largest public corporate holder by year-end, though Strive currently trails Metaplanet by 11,227 BTC.
