Mercari presents 7 scenarios in which an attacker with write permissions to a branch protected GitHub repository can bypass those protections to merge malicious code without a review. For each of the first six methods mentioned, Mercari also presents a technical control to prevent the attack. However, the final scenario, which involves the attacker adding a commit to a PR that another user created using GitHub Actions and approving it, does not have a comprehensive defense mechanism built into GitHub.
Data shows that web applications and email—which are primarily accessed via web browsers—account for over 80% of security breaches [11]; and a majority of the client-side zero-day exploits are browser vulnerabilities. Focus on mastering the fundamentals of Google Ads to see success, including optimizing offers, landing pages, campaign structure, and conversion tracking. Avoid “Shiny Object Syndrome” by staying disciplined and not chasing unnecessary trends. Success often comes from actions outside of Google Ads, like improving offers and sales funnels. Automation is not the enemy - learn to leverage it for better results. Specializing in one niche, like e-commerce, can accelerate mastery.

Structure the story using the Storybrand framework, positioning the customer as the hero. Highlight layered challenges to add depth, and use colorful quotes to humanize the story.
When you apply a query filter to Google Search Console data, Google immediately hides a large percentage of clicks for 'privacy,' which are not included in totals. Use filtered data to get an idea for a trend (ie. "branded clicks are going up/down"), but not for precise data.

Without addressing freshness, ease of mind, and comfort in their branding, they missed key opportunities to build trust.
AI is making media more data-driven, with 79% of ad spend expected to be algorithmic by 2027. While it improves efficiency and identifies patterns, it also risks making marketing look the same. Just as AI-generated stories often blend together, AI-driven campaigns can become indistinguishable without human creativity. Marketers need to act as algorithm architects, combining AI capabilities to support brand, relationship, and business goals instead of relying solely on automated platforms.
Scalability is a system's ability to handle increasing workloads by adding resources, preventing slowdowns as it grows. An iOS app has sophisticated anti-debugging techniques, such as preventing debugger attachment, causing phone reboots, and crashing upon code injection. To tackle these problems, the developer first identified the use of the ptrace(PT_DENY_ATTACH) function and then showed two methods to bypass it: a simpler method involving breakpoints, and a more involved approach analyzing the app's assembly code to locate and skip the relevant system call. The phone reboot was actually caused by an infinite loop continuously taking screen snapshots, easily bypassed by using `thread return` in LLDB to skip the offending function. Finally, the code injection crash is from the app's reliance on an app group that gets removed during resigning, which was fixed by avoiding resigning or using a jailbroken device.
