📔 PROCESS ORCHESTRATION FOR TECHNICAL LEADERS

Automation is high on the agenda for most organizations, but often fails to materialize — especially when processes are only automated in a single software system, team, or device. Even simple-sounding processes often follow a complex logic. That's where process orchestration [3] comes in: coordinating the various endpoints of a business process (people / systems / devices), or tying multiple processes together.

GOT TINNITUS? A DEVICE THAT TICKLES THE TONGUE HELPS THIS MUSICIAN FIND RELIEF

Lenire is a device that treats tinnitus using electrical stimulation of the tongue. Approved by the FDA in March last year, the device consists of a plastic mouthpiece with stainless steel electrodes. A clinical trial found that 84% of participants who tried Lenire experienced a significant reduction in symptoms. While the device costs around $4,000, more than 80% of the participants in the clinical trial said they would recommend the device to a friend with tinnitus. It is unclear how long the benefits last as clinical trials have only evaluated the device over a 1-year period.

YOU CAN'T BUILD A MOAT WITH AI

AI differentiation is challenging, but the key lies not in AI models like LLMs, which are becoming commoditized, but in the unique data fed into these models. Effective data engineering is crucial as it directly impacts AI performance, with applications requiring integration of customer-specific data to provide accurate responses. Thus, creating a competitive edge in AI applications hinges on innovative data use rather than the AI technology itself.

HONG KONG SPOT ETFS MAY ONLY HAVE $500M IN INFLOWS

Senior ETF Analyst at Bloomberg Eric Balchunas speculates that the upcoming Hong Kong Bitcoin ETFs will not have substantial inflows or market effects. The ETFs will not be available to Chinese locals, and the Hong Kong ETF market is only $50 billion. With no big players involved and less liquidity, the market will be less efficient with spreads beyond where Bitcoin normally trades. These factors and relatively high 1-2% fees make this more of a moral victory than a financial one for Bitcoin.
