Anthropic shipped Claude Fable 5 today, the first of the new Mythos-class models, and after five days of hard testing it's being called the best coding model in the world. The standout reaction is that it's the first model that felt like it was pushing the testers rather than the other way around, handling ambitious coding, writing, and agent work that earlier models couldn't touch. The bar for what one person can build just moved again, so the real question is what you'd attempt if the model could carry the whole build.
AGENT TOOLKIT FOR AWS
The Agent Toolkit for AWS gives AI coding agents the tools, knowledge, and guardrails they need to work with AWS services. It helps AI coding agents build, deploy, and manage applications on AWS. The toolkit works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kiro, and other coding agents developers already use. Over time, the best MCP servers, skills, and plugins from AWS Labs will be transitioned to the Agent Toolkit for AWS to ensure customers can access the broadest array of tooling and guidance for their agents.

HACKER NEWS SENT 10X THE TRAFFIC — TO THE ONE DEVICE IT COULDN'T INSTALL ON
Franz, a desktop app, got featured on both Hacker News and Product Hunt in the same week. Hacker News sent roughly ten times the traffic compared to Product Hunt. However, most of the traffic Hacker News sent was on mobile, while people were viewing the Product Hunt feature on laptops. Franz is a desktop app, and its site doesn't display a direct download link on mobile, so the traffic from Hacker News was less valuable.
YOU COMMISSION THE WORK NOW
An early tester got access to Fable and watched it work on its own for up to nine hours on a single brief, spinning up helper agents to research, code, and check each other. The shift he describes is that he now sets the goal and judges the result, while the model handles every step in between. The power is real and so is the unease, because hundreds of choices happen in a black box you never see, so the skill that matters becomes writing a sharp brief and knowing a good result when you get one.

SOCIAL COMMERCE GROWING 4X FASTER THAN E-COMMERCE
IN 2026, LESS THAN ONE THIRD OF GOOGLE SEARCHES STILL SEND A CLICK
68.01% of Google searches ended without a click in early 2026. This is up from 60.45% in 2024 and about 45% a decade ago. AI Overviews now appear on 20%+ of queries and cut CTR by nearly 60%, accelerating a broader shift toward zero-click behavior across platforms. Google is reinforcing this through product design, boosting repeat searches and ad revenue while sending 8 points less traffic to sites YoY.
4-STEP FLYWHEEL FOR BUILDING A PREDICTABLE LINKEDIN INBOUND ENGINE
Run LinkedIn organic and paid as a single system. Write all organic content for your ICP first, then promote it through paid regardless of organic performance. Structure distribution with awareness and engagement campaigns and tight ICP targeting. Use planned reach and frequency goals and retargeting exclusions to control exposure. Track landing page clicks, dwell time, pipeline, and CAC to see what resonates. Scale winning themes and formats and reduce or remove those that do not drive results.
HOW WE GREW TORO TMS'S CONTENT FROM 5% TO 25% OF REVENUE
Toro grew content from 5% to more than 25% of revenue by focusing on high-intent SEO instead of chasing traffic volume. Its strategy targeted category, comparison, and template keywords that signaled buying intent, then paired them with detailed product-led content built from customer and employee interviews. The approach produced 43 first page rankings from 46 articles, a 93% success rate, and increased opportunity volume by 350% and booked revenue by 362% year over year. The content mirrored real sales conversations by addressing workflows, use cases, and product strengths in depth rather than publishing generic comparisons. The same content also improved AI discoverability, giving Toro 91% visibility in Google AI Overviews and helping it appear in AI-generated software recommendations.
WHAT INSTAGRAM'S NEW “REORDER GRID” FEATURE MEANS FOR BRANDS
Instagram's Reorder Grid turns profiles into conversion surfaces. Brands should design grids with intent around 3 goals: drive purchases, increase content views, or earn follows. Use custom thumbnails and a clear design system. Lead with strongest brand visuals rather than viral posts, and place best-selling products above the fold. Keep the grid balanced so it reads as intentional.

MY MEDIA DIET: WHY IS EVERYONE WATCHING OLD TV AGAIN?
Audiences are rewatching or discovering older TV series like Mad Men, The Sopranos, and Seinfeld, turning them into shared cultural touchpoints again. This is happening alongside fatigue with reality TV saturation and fragmented streaming releases. There's also a growing preference for fictional worlds that feel emotionally predictable. Older shows offer clear stakes and resolution. They create a sense of coherence that contrasts with algorithm-driven media and constant real-world noise.
SAY HI TO “SIRI AI"—APPLE ANNOUNCES NEW, MORE “CONVERSATIONAL” VOICE ASSISTANT
Siri AI reframes Apple's voice assistant as a persistent conversational layer across apps and device data rather than a task-by-task utility, capable of chaining requests across messages, maps, calendar, and email in a single exchange. The update introduces a two-tier model structure that reserves the most capable features for newer hardware meeting specific chip and memory requirements, leaving older supported devices on a reduced version. Google's Gemini powers the underlying foundation model following a deal struck earlier this year, and some features rely on private cloud compute with daily usage limits for off-device processing.

OPENAI CONFIDENTIALLY FILES FOR IPO, PREPPING WALL STREET FOR MEGA AI DEBUT
OpenAI has confidentially filed for an IPO with the SEC. The company has yet to decide on the timing of the offering. It may be a while before OpenAI goes public, as there are things the company wants to do that are likely easier as a private entity, but the filing gives it the option to go public sooner if that ends up being best. OpenAI plans to facilitate a tender offer that will allow employees to sell shares at its latest $852 billion post-money valuation to alleviate some near-term liquidity pressure.
SAMSUNG REPORTEDLY INVOLVED IN SPACEX XAI SATELLITE CHIP PROJECT
Samsung is reportedly in the early stages of producing AI space computing chips for SpaceX's satellite chip ambitions. It has so far raised almost $3 billion from investors, including Bill Gates' Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Nvidia's venture arm.

CORE AI
Apple's Core AI framework allows developers to build, run, and deploy AI models in apps on Apple silicon. It enables access to the latest model architectures and inference techniques across the CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine. The Swift API gives developers control over model specialization, caching, and inference performance while making common tasks simple. Core AI integrates with Xcode and the developer toolchain.
LOOP ENGINEERING
Loop engineering is when a developer replaces themselves as the person who prompts the agent with a system that does it instead. The loop is a recursive goal where the user defines a purpose and the AI iterates until complete. The technology is still early - users have to be careful about token costs and still monitor to ensure quality - but this is likely the future of how people work with coding agents. Stop prompting coding agents and design loops that prompt agents instead.
