TEXTS FROM CRYPTO GIANT BINANCE REVEAL PLAN TO ELUDE U.S. AUTHORITIES
Texts from Binance have revealed a plan developed in 2019 to avoid potential prosecution from US authorities. The information indicates that Binance.US set up a corporation in the US that would license technology from Binance but maintain, or appear to maintain, independence to draw US regulatory scrutiny away from Binance. However, documents and interviews revealed that Binance and its US partner Binance.US could be more interwoven than the companies led authorities to believe, sharing staff, finances, and an affiliated entity. If regulators determine that Binance.US is actually a subsidiary of Binance and not an independent company, it could provide them with the firepower they need to bring Binance as a whole under the microscope.

This article explores the potential role of block building in the future of applications and Ethereum. Block building is a process by which validators are elected to select transactions for the next block. As the block-building market develops, MEV is becoming an increasingly competitive space with more sophisticated block builders carving out profit; however, as this market becomes more competitive and margins decrease, block building will likely evolve from MEV extraction to include other products and services such as gas optimization, conditional transaction execution, and security. All of this could lead to block building becoming increasingly important for both the user and developer experience and the future of scaling Ethereum.

DEMYSTIFYING EXPLOITABLE BUGS IN SMART CONTRACTS
This project is aimed at providing a valuable resource for Web3 developers and security analysts by helping them understand exploitable bugs in smart contracts. Most exploitable bugs are functional in nature and can't be detected by general oracles like reentrancy. The project plans to compile an extensive list of vulnerability detection techniques that prioritize the development of semantical oracles for smart contracts sourced from a variety of materials. It also highlights two research papers, "Finding Permission Bugs in Smart Contracts with Role Mining" and "AChecker: Statically Detecting Smart Contract Access Control Vulnerabilities", that try to address access control issues.
