Warp's new cloud software factories provide a versioned, measurable way to hand off more mission-critical work to agents.
By integrating Sentry, you can setup an automated debugging workflow with your full context, capture agent metrics for evals, and verify signed deliveries.
In this workshop [5], Sergiy Dybskiy of Sentry and Ben Homes of Warp lay out:
* What Warp factories are and how they can be used to debug issues with Sentry * How Warp is using Sentry internally [6] for some of their own factories * Best practices for using Warp and Sentry together
Jev 1.14.0 features image support, a new type, and longer context. Multimodal support has also been turned on for Jev 1.13.0. Both models perform worse on multimodality than on pure text. Breaking down questions into the simplest possible decompositions helps a lot. The new 'box' type returns a single bounding box. It is a preview of TypeSafe's explorations beyond simple decisions and into what else System One Models can support.
Gavin Baker expects open-weight specialist models and frontier systems to coexist behind routers, reducing model margins while increasing compute demand. He argues existing infrastructure commitments remain financeable and warns that excessive concentration or overbuilding poses greater risks.
AI has made producing code cheap. This moves the bottleneck of software delivery to deciding, verifying, and coordinating. AI amplifies whatever coordination an organization already had. Adding more agents will not fix weak coordination, just as adding more developers never did.
Users can now send OpenTelemetry traces from Claude Managed Agents, the Messages API, and Claude SDKs to any OTel tool, and follow each step their agents take. Claude traces follow the OpenTelemetry GenAI semantic conventions, so data from Claude and other providers works in the same tools and dashboards. They work with any other OpenTelemetry tool that accepts a standard OTLP endpoint. The new feature can be used to debug agents, improve agents with production data, and track usage across an organization.
Google's Deep Review is an agent AI system engineer designed to provide rigorous feedback and technical verification on complex documents. It was initially designed for computer science academic paper analysis, but its capabilities have since expanded to reviewing documents across many domains. Deep Review will initially support PDFs and plain text as input formats, but support for multi-file inputs will arrive soon. Google believes that tools like Deep Review will play a significant role across the peer review process in the coming years by empowering both authors and reviewers.
Google Research's Harness² lets agents iteratively improve their prompts, tools, memory, and orchestration without changing model weights. It refines the harness for each task and then carries evidence-backed lessons forward to improve future tasks.
TLDR is hiring a senior engineer to build the agent-first operating layer used across the company. We're looking for a builder who has taken an LLM agent to production and still owns it. Click here to learn more [18].
Routers have emerged as a new primitive of the AI stack. They promise to handle the complexity of model management and help companies benefit from new models without revisiting model selection across every application themselves. Every router shares the same fundamental design, but they differ in how they decide. This post provides an independent comparison of current routers and looks at how today's routers compare with single models on quality and cost.
Stratospheric GPU prices will be one of the easiest indicators of AGI to monitor and trade on. A 10x price jump in the price of AI compute will be the clearest sign that agents can finally outperform humans at most economically valuable work. The price would need to rise to an estimated $30 per H100-hour to reach this point. Supply will always be limited to the amount of available compute in the world, so something has to give.
This post introduces a push-based NIXL connector that moves post-prefill transfer coordination and setup off the critical path, resulting in improved application responsiveness, particularly at high request rates.
Ling-3.1-flash is a native hybrid reasoning model designed for complex, real-world tasks with 560 billion total parameters, 25 billion active parameters per token, and a one-million-token context window.

Netflix described the infrastructure it uses to detect faulty GPUs and network hardware, automatically remediate unhealthy machines, and keep distributed training jobs alive through hardware failures.
Still trying to get your security team to use AI tools they don't trust? Chris Cochran, Field CISO and VP of AI Security at SANS, wrote the new Govern Field Guide to help organizations verify the trustworthiness of their AI security program.
It breaks down risk management, oversight and accountability, shadow AI visibility, and compliance readiness, each with a specific move for reaching a defensible Stage 3.

OpenAI said it alerted the FBI after finding a hidden recording device in an executive conference room, leading to the firing and arrest of employee Abdulrahman Alfozan. Prosecutors alleged the device was used to covertly intercept conversations, while OpenAI said it found no evidence that model weights, source code, or customer data were accessed.
Google made Gemini 4 Argon available on Google Cloud as a frontier model for long, multi-step enterprise work. It was positioned for tasks requiring sustained context and domain expertise, including software development, finance, legal work, and cybersecurity.
The debate over AI consciousness continues with minimal progress, as many argue without strong evidence. Anthropic's new policy classifies abusive behavior towards AI, such as Claude, as a violation of terms to cultivate positive model interactions. Despite skepticism from many, some, including Nick Bostrom, believe current AIs may be conscious, complicating ethical considerations around AI development.
Splitting a task among several AI agents creates another job: deciding who does what, passing information between them, and checking their results. Anthropic's dynamic workflows let Claude write the program that manages those steps. An October 12 demonstration assigned stock tickers to separate agents, then reviewed their findings before producing a report. The presenters said this found more detail but cost much more than using one agent. Developers can set a session spending limit, but the running model does not know that budget.

Nvidia is making the full NVIDIA Run:ai platform available as open-source software. It is now possible for every NVIDIA DSX ecosystem partner and AI cloud to increase workload throughput, improve GPU utilization, and operate shared AI infrastructure more efficiently and effectively. The release includes the complete NVIDIA Run:ai platform, KAI Scheduler, GPU Fractioning Operator, KAI Resource Management, and Workload Map. Platform teams and ecosystem partners can adopt NVIDIA Run:ai as an integrated whole, build on it for their own products and services, or integrate individual components based on their requirements.
Physical Intelligence is making its latest models available for training and inference through the Pi API beta. The Pi API adapts the latest and most powerful robotic foundation models to each application, dealing with ML infrastructure, compute, and complex data pipelines. Users just upload data, launch fine-tuning on managed compute and infrastructure, and access the fine-tuned models via a hosted gateway to run inference.
LFM2.5-24B-A2B, a 24B-parameter reasoning model with 2B active parameters, is designed for fast, private on-device agents. It outperforms or matches larger models like Qwen3.6-35B-A3B on five out of eight benchmarks and runs up to 1.7x faster due to its efficient architecture. Available on Hugging Face, it supports extensive inference frameworks, making it suitable for tasks needing swift local inference and tool usage.
OpenCode 2.0 contains quite a lot of new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. The server now automatically runs as a single background process. Programmatic clients will autodiscover the local service and just work. OpenCode can now be used as a library with the SDK package. More details about the update are available in the article.
Character.ai initiated a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy process to pursue a court-supervised sale after facing legal, regulatory, and operational pressures. The company said the platform could continue under a successful bid, but may be wound down if no viable buyer emerges.

The Curve is the Golden Gate Institute for AI's annual gathering of AI researchers, lab executives, safety activists, funders, politicians, organizers, and journalists. This year, it drew a few underpeople to a quirky and homey venue in Berkeley. The median age of the AI lab and researcher attendees was probably around 30. This post takes a look at the main topics discussed at the conference, which include the debate on whether humans can maintain control of AI technology, whether AI's impact will be good or bad, and how to ensure AI alignment.
