TESLA SETS OCTOBER 1 UNVEILING FOR THE LONG-DELAYED SECOND-GEN ROADSTER
Tesla posted "Go for launch" with a "10.01" graphic, pointing to an October 1 reveal of the second-generation Roadster, first announced back in November 2017 and delayed repeatedly since. The Information recently reported the original 2017 design has been scrapped entirely for a new, unrevealed one, and the teaser graphic hints at the promised SpaceX-developed cold gas thrusters meant to let the car briefly fly. Even after next month's unveiling, Musk has previously said the Roadster won't reach actual production for another 12 to 18 months.
