Figma's AI products, including its agent and Figma Make, need tens of thousands of sandboxes to run untrusted code safely. Nimbus, an internal platform, provisions, monitors, and routes those sandboxes across cloud providers through one simple API. Warm pools of pre-started sandboxes cut provisioning latency by about 90% and, together with automated provider selection, lifted provisioning availability from 99% to 99.95%.
