SURREALDB 4

Summary from the TLDR Data newsletter

SurrealDB 4 rebuilds the query engine with 240+ fixes. It reports 42% faster CRUD operations and projects 22x faster indexed queries, while adding PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB compatibility. The same engine powers Earth's serverless databases on Cloudflare and SurrealDS' distributed clusters, which confirm writes only after storing them across two zones.
