META HAS A NEW AI PET APP CALLED WADDLE WORLD

Summary from the TLDR AI newsletter

Meta launched Waddle World, a virtual AI pet app that functions like a Tamagotchi, in the Philippines on iOS and Android. Unlike traditional productivity tools or chatbots, it serves as a digital pet and personal journal, allowing users to interact and play mini-games without pressure. The app reflects Meta's cautious approach following legal issues faced by other AI companion apps.
