HAL CASINO IS A SINGLE-WEIGHT SERIF, SANS AND MONO

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

HAL Typefaces' HAL Casino combines serif, sans, and monospaced styles within a single-weight family, allowing contrasting typographic voices to work together as one system. Its forms draw on historical serif designs and expressive swash lettering while balancing expressive details with enough consistency for the styles to be mixed freely. The result gives designers multiple distinct textures without requiring them to leave a single coordinated type family.
