INTRODUCING TSRS: A PORT OF TYPESCRIPT TO RUST

Summary from the TLDR Dev newsletter

Cloudflare and VoidZero, in collaboration with the TypeScript team, are developing tsrs as a faithful Rust port of TypeScript within the Oxc toolchain. Early matched-configuration benchmarks report up to 8x faster checking and about 70% less memory than TypeScript 7.0. An experimental npm release is available, though compatibility differences remain before a stable release.
