CRITIQUE IN THE AI ERA

AI can produce twelve credible variations before the coffee cools, so the design crit should become a debrief, like an F1 team studying telemetry over finishing position. Teams ask about reasoning, friction with the model and verification, and also critique the setup: briefs, constraints, and rubrics. AI critics tend to agree with the designer, and great AI-first designers sense limits, give precise feedback, and know when to override the model.
