OpenAI's Decisions API turns text and images into decisions that applications can use. It evaluates text, images, or both and returns typed answers 10 times faster than the Responses API. The Decisions API returns a probability that a condition is true, a choice from a fixed set, or a score against a rubric. These answers can be used to classify content, route requests, and prioritize work in an application.
