APPLE AND QUALCOMM RENEW GLOBAL PATENT LICENSING AGREEMENT

Qualcomm and Apple have extended their global patent licensing agreement that was previously set to expire in 2027. The new deal will take effect on April 1. The companies did not disclose how long the renewed agreement will remain in effect. While Apple has not officially commented on its modem plans going forward, it is expected to eventually move away from Qualcomm modems altogether.
