ONE MORE THING ABOUT THE IPHONE 18 PRO: THE BIGGER/SMALLER DYNAMIC ISLAND

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

The iPhone 18 Pro moves its Face ID infrared camera beneath the display, allowing Apple to shrink the Dynamic Island cutout while expanding its usable space to support up to three simultaneous Live Activities. Although the pixels above the hidden sensor appear slightly softer than the rest of the display, the change marks another step toward Apple's long-term goal of a true edge-to-edge, all-screen iPhone.
