WHAT MAKES A GOOD LISTICLE?

Freshness is the strongest ranking signal for listicles, so keep dates recent and easy for search engines to interpret. Explicit list counts also tend to perform better, with larger numbers often ranking higher. By contrast, word count, images, author bios, schema markup, and extra headings don't reliably improve rankings. Self-promotional listicles can still perform well, but putting your own product first doesn't appear to drive that growth.
