WiFi 7 adoption has reached 7.2% in the US about a year and a half after routers entered the market, with ISPs such as Charter, Comcast, Frontier, and CenturyLink driving deployment. The technology improves throughput, interference handling, device capacity, and in some cases upload speeds, while WiFi 8 and WiFi 9 are already being planned for future releases.
