Generative UI replaces the “wall of text” in AI responses with interfaces generated to match user intent. It breaks into three generation categories: static/controlled (model picks tool arguments and app code maps results to existing components), declarative (model composes layouts from a versioned component catalog via specs like A2UI over AG-UI), and open-ended (raw HTML/CSS/JS in a sandboxed iframe, still blocked by security, latency, and consistency).
