DESIGNING WITH CODE

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Code has become a creative medium at Cursor, where AI agents now handle implementation while designers focus on directing and iterating on ideas. A gear-graphic case study shows the process: refining shapes, spacing, motion, and looping through iterative prompts within Cursor. Despite AI's speed, initial concept sketching remains a distinctly human step, with designers retaining responsibility for taste and judgment.
