AWS has placed Amazon Q Business, Amazon Kendra, Bedrock Agents Classic, and nine SageMaker AI capabilities into maintenance mode, blocking new customers while continuing access and support for existing users. This is a rational portfolio correction driven by changing technology and adoption, but AWS can reallocate resources faster than enterprise customers can migrate from services in which they have invested.
