The industry is overreacting to Kimi K3 and Chinese open-weight models. However, there is reason to be concerned about cybersecurity risks. Models capable of mounting cybersecurity attacks on existing infrastructure are already widely available. The only viable defense is to make sure defenders have access to the best models as well.
