New AI design tools like Claude Design aren't replacing professional designers but rather raising the design quality floor for businesses that never would have hired designers. For actual designers, this creates more leverage and opportunity since raising the floor doesn't limit their ceiling - their expertise and taste remain irreplaceable advantages.
