LEAKER ADDS SUPPORT FOR RED IPHONE 18 COLOR RUMOR, IN A SLIGHTLY WEIRD WAY

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Apple is reportedly testing a deep red (“crimson”) color for the iPhone 18 Pro, though it's unclear whether it will replace Cosmic Orange or be offered alongside it. Other rumored colors like purple and brown may actually be variations of this same red tone, suggesting Apple is focusing on a bold flagship color strategy. A leaker has indirectly backed the rumor by claiming Android competitors are already preparing similar red models, possibly in response to Apple's plans—but this may just be based on existing reports rather than new leaks. Overall, the move aligns with the success of standout colors like Cosmic Orange, which likely encourages Apple to continue experimenting with more striking finishes.
