AUTO MODE FOR CLAUDE CODE
Summary from the TLDR newsletter
Auto mode for Claude Code is an alternative to --dangerously-skip-permissions. It allows Claude to make permission decisions autonomously. A separate classifier model reviews conversations before each action runs to see whether actions match intent. It blocks actions that escalate beyond the task scope or seem otherwise unsafe. Auto mode ships with an extensive set of default filters, and users can customize them further with their own rules.
