DEPARTMENT STORES AND ONLINE RETAILERS EXPOSED IN AI CHATBOT LOGS AND AUDIO RECORDINGS DATA LEAK

Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler discovered three publicly exposed, unprotected databases containing a total of 3.7M chat logs, audio recordings, and text transcripts of phone calls from 2024 to 2026. All of the files contained references to Sears Home Services. Public access was removed upon the researcher's request, and his report was forwarded to the person who manages the AI chatbot.
