WORDPRESS' NEW AI ASSISTANT WILL LET USERS EDIT THEIR SITES WITH PROMPTS

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

WordPress launched an opt-in AI assistant integrated into its site editor and media library capable of generating images, editing and translating text, and reorganizing sites. Users can interact with it via a sidebar or by tagging "@ai" in block notes, a feature added in the 6.9 update. The tool must be manually enabled in settings, except for sites built with WordPress's AI website builder.
