Fundability is the measure of how well a startup fits with the current venture consensus. Investability is a measure of potential outcome and financial return. VCs that conflate the two or don't recognize the difference risk building an entire ecosystem that rewards fundability. Chasing fundability over investability has never been a reliable path to outlier outcomes and fund returns.
