P2 is a new HTML templating library for Ruby where HTML is expressed using plain Ruby. The templating source code is always compiled into an efficient Ruby code that generates the HTML. The code written inside a P2 template is never actually run, it just serves as a description of what you actually want to do. This post looks at how P2's template generation works.
