GOOGLE'S NEW AI MODEL CREATES VIDEO GAME WORLDS IN REAL TIME

Google DeepMind has introduced Genie 3, an upgraded AI world model that can generate 3D environments with real-time interaction, improved memory, and longer user engagement compared to its predecessor. Genie 3 supports a few minutes of continuous play and can remember visual details for about a minute, maintaining consistency in the environment. Although it offers new features like prompt-based world events, Genie 3 is currently available only as a limited research preview for selected academics and creators.
