CONCURRENT RENDERING
Summary from the TLDR Web Dev newsletter
React 18's concurrent rendering is an update that makes rendering interruptible, allowing React to prepare multiple UI versions simultaneously and prioritize urgent updates over non-urgent ones for better responsiveness. This also includes updates to the startTransition API, useTransition and useDeferredValue hooks, and automatic batching to improve app performance during heavy rendering tasks.
