ITEM FLOW, PART 1: A NEW UNIFIED CONCEPT FOR LAYOUT

Summary from the TLDR Web Dev newsletter

"Item Flow" is a proposed unified CSS system designed to control layout flow, wrapping, packing, and spacing in both Flexbox and Grid. It will consolidate the functionality of flex-flow and grid-auto-flow into a new shorthand property, item-flow, along with longhand properties like item-direction, item-wrap, item-pack, and item-slack.
