Summary from the TLDR Product newsletter

Self-sealing arguments are rhetorical traps that make it impossible to refute a claim, as any response either reinforces the original point or concedes to it. To navigate these situations, it's important to recognize the trap, avoid instinctive reactions like defending or attacking the argument, and instead seek to reframe the discussion or slow it down to foster more productive dialogue.
