GOOGLE REDESIGNS GEMINI HOMESCREEN TO BE EVEN SIMPLER ON ANDROID

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

The Gemini app has introduced a new minimalist redesign. The previously elongated text box and separate buttons for voice, camera, and upload options have now been condensed into a single line, emulating a chat-like experience. Tapping the text field now expands it with an animation, similar to the web UI. The overall design now features a simple, welcoming message and minimalistic elements akin to the Google Search homepage.
