FOR $5, PHOTON LIBRARY BRINGS BACK THE FEEL OF THE OLD IOS PHOTOS APP

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Photon Library, a new app, seeks to address dissatisfaction with the iOS 18 Photos app redesign, which users are finding less intuitive than the Photos app in iOS 17. It restores the familiar tabbed interface and features such as photo grids and album lists, providing an alternative to the one-page design of the new Photos app. Unlike iOS 18, Photon Library's layout includes tabs for recent photos, albums, calendar views, and favorites.
