MICROSOFT'S PAINT 3D WAS ONCE THE FUTURE OF MS PAINT, BUT NOW IT'S GOING AWAY

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Microsoft introduced Paint 3D in the Fall Creators Update of Windows 10, aiming to replace the classic MS Paint with advanced 3D editing features. Due to user backlash, the older Paint app was retained and enhanced with new features, while Paint 3D fell into obscurity. By November 4, Paint 3D will be deprecated, with users directed to alternative apps for 2D and 3D editing needs. This deprecation aligns with Microsoft's recent trend of streamlining and refocusing its built-in Windows apps.
