DESIGNING PROFILE, ACCOUNT, AND SETTING PAGES FOR BETTER UX

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

No standard structure exists for account, settings, and profile pages across different apps. It is crucial to clearly distinguish between "Account" (configuration and settings) and "Profile" (user-specific information) pages. Recommended practices include using "You" and "Your" in naming conventions and a gear icon or "Settings" menu for high-level navigation. Some apps combine these functions into a single screen upon login.
