IT WAS ABOUT TIME THE MINNESOTA FLAG WAS REDESIGNED

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Minnesota now has a redesigned flag by the state artist Andrew Prekker following a competition that received over 2,500 submissions. In addition to its simple design and easy recognition, the new logo incorporates local symbolism, such as the North Star on the state's shape and the sky blue background representing its "10,000 Lakes".
