Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

CSS had a fantastic year in 2023. Every modern browser now supports container queries, subgrids, the :has() selector, and a wide range of new color spaces and functions. Additionally, new primitives like CSS nesting and scoped styles have given creators more control. Chrome also supports CSS-only scroll-based animations as well as smooth transitions between web views.
