FROM PIXELS TO PRINT: ENSURING VERSATILITY IN CUSTOM LOGO DESIGN
Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter
A custom-made logo needs to have 5 basic variations to increase its adaptability. It should have a primary logo variant, a simplified primary logo, just the words, just the icon, and a reversed color variation. A fully adaptable custom logo is a simple and flat image, uses fewer details, has a mindful color palette, works in black and white, can be resized without losing its shape or meaning, and uses appropriate typography.
