MOST DESIGN “AWARDS” ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM TO BE

blog.prototypr.io2 min read

Summary from the TLDR Design newsletter

Design awards aren’t handed to designers and companies based on being scouted by someone. Designers have to submit their designs and pay fees of up to $2,250 to be considered for an award. An “award-winning” designer today means someone who’s invested in marketing, not necessarily someone great at design.
