Suleyman thinks that AI and biotechnology will soon enable small groups to cause harm on previously unimaginable scales. While the technology could provide humans with many benefits, such as eliminating the need to work to live, future generations of AI may 'go rogue' and cause harm to people. This may become a legitimate concern within the next 12 years.
